2 Peter 1 1 Simon Peter, a
servant and an apostle of
Jesus Christ, to them that
have obtained like precious
faith with us through the
righteousness of God and
our Savior Jesus Christ:
It is clear that Peter never placed himself
above those to whom he ministered.
They had the same faith and got it the same way.
3
That needs to be the mindset of every minister of
our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ.
No I and u
Complete recognition that we are brothers and
sisters, equally sons and daughters of God.
Not just ministers, but
all Christians.

2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through
the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
3 According as His Divine Power hath given unto
us all things that pertain unto life and godliness,
through the knowledge of Him that hath called us

Grace and peace are two separate qualities, but are
closely connected within one person.
If a person is at peace within, he will be at
peace with the people around him.
If he is at peace with God, within himself, and
with those around him,
He will be gracious in all situations.

4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and
precious promises: that by these ye might be
partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the

we escape the corruption in this world.
It’s not as much a
matter of fighting
against the evil, as it is
of submitting to the
good.

5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your
faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
Giving all diligence = Making every effort:
Add to your faith virtue.
