3. Problem Statement
•A hard-worker, young, motivated, talented and
anxious student of Industrial Engineering near to
graduate
STAKEHOLDER
• Needs to find a way to
advance in his career in a way
conducive to his aspirations
NEED
•Because he strongly believed in his
potential as a professional. For that
reason, he thinks that he needs
more responsibilities
INSIGHT
4. The chosen options
•Say to his boss that he wants more responsibilities:
It is an instant way to point out his problem, it could
be possible that he would get what he really
want, considerating that he is a hard-worker
person
The most
practical
•Making a innovative project about being
sustainable and productive in the Engineering
field: it is a very challenging decision and it will
very valuable initiative that could help the world
and the field of engineering
The most
disruptive
•Proposing to his colleagues a new way of working
in the office, giving responsibilities to all: I like this
one because is related with the teamwork, the
communication and it could be a helpful way to
have a better performance in the company
My
favorite
5. Prototyping

7. Considerations
• I made two prototypes before the testing time and
two others with the feedback given just to make a
contrast of how important is the people’s opinion
• I chose this 2 ideas, given in the ideate stage, after
discussing with some people
• The told me that talking with the boss is very related
with working with colleagues and assigning
responsibilities
• I showed to 5 different people (divided in 3 groups)
the 2 ideas elaborated by me in the prototype stage.
They gave me some feedback and I take the main
ideas and described them in the next part.
9. Feedback from the
stakeholder
Making projects and assign responsibilities would help in teamwork
Making things in a fun way will help the creativity and innovation
Playing games, standing up, moving, relaxing, relating stories are
new ways to work in teams
I would like to create something that can changes the world
Being sustainable is most important that having lower costs
What about going out and investigate the space, the environment
and then having lots of ideas
10. Feedback from young
people
It would be cool having a special room for teamwork
Going out with colleagues would be helpful for creativity
and teamwork
The boss has to be there, he has to transmit his leadership to
others
Leadership is not exclusive for bosses, the colleagues has to
demonstrate it
Creating something that helps the environment will be
awesome
The stakeholder has to consider the planet and not only the
company where he works
11. Feedback from
experimented people
Having constant reunions with feedback would be
important in teamwork
The young engineer has to study more and demonstrate
his abilities if he wants more responsibilities
Creating a new process in the industry will be relevant in
the field of Industrial Engineering
Consider budget, time and resources, then making a
plan of creation
Discussing the plan and first things of the project would
help
12. Conclusions
• Prototyping is a essential way to demonstrate
our creativity and capacity of giving potential
to our ideas
• It doesn’t matter if we fail, the most important
thing is learn from our mistakes and listening to
others in the test stage
• The feedback is important to make a better
version of what we prototype
