Catapult centres were established in the UK following a 2010 review to make world-leading technical capabilities available to businesses. There are currently 11 Catapult centres focused on sectors like manufacturing, life sciences, transport, energy, and digital technologies. The centres provide access to expertise, facilities for collaborative R&D projects, and help businesses identify, adopt and exploit innovative technologies.
