For The very first time we have to learn about Psychology. It can be
defined as the scientific study of the human mind and its functions,
especially those affecting behavior in a given context. It is a medical
term and denotes the human behavior, intuition & cognitive thought
process. It differs in person to person. It is the main thing to understand
& recognize a human. It is fully related to cognitive attitude by which
anyone can show their behavior and advocate others by their own
tactics.
1.1 Comparisons of different psychological theories of lifespan
development.
According to Carl Roger’s opinion lifespan development Can be
definitely depends on psychological matters which refers to the
lifestyle’s congruence and incongruence of a child. There are various
people in the world and they are totally exceptional to each other.
Hence, PAUL is also unique to others. As in the beginning of his
childhood he lost his parents, he wasn’t grown up like other persons. In
that case there was so much hindrance to burgeon of his life. From the
stage of infancy to adolescence his psychology turned himself avoided
from others because being keen on anything is depends properly on
one’s intuitive behavior or cognitive thought. Such kind of incongruence
attitude can be renovated by proper humanistic counseling.
Introduction
Task 1. (Understand theories of lifespan development)
4. 4
1.2 Explanation of how psychological theories and concepts are
related to specific life stages.
In order to make the relation established between the concepts &
psychological theories we have to deem some shortlisted criteria.
These criterias may be Human behavior, Cognitive thought,
Psychodynamic and Humanistic discipline. Following discussions are
from the incentive scenario ………………………………
Human Behavior: Behavior sometimes can be possessed from biological
parents and sometimes it can be influenced by the social milieu. Paul’s
parents departed their soul while he was under the adolescence stage
so it can be clearly denoted that Paul was influenced by the social
ambiance and other subsidiary circumstances.
Cognitive thought: It is ingenious matter. Totally depends on mental
augmentation. It seems that Paul have been suffering from dyslexia
which is one kind of disease not recognizing specific thing normally. For
this reason the unfavorable condition was his as usual nature. Mental
dissatisfaction, delusions, bipolar affective disorder, manic-depressive
disorder as well as psychosis disorder was his undisciplined manner as
disease. Hardly, it happened to the children & it can be recovered by
taking care of.
Psychodynamic and Humanistic discipline: According to Roger’s self-
actualization opinion ‘’ the organism has basic tendency & striving- to
actualize, maintain and enhance the experiencing organism’’ (Rogers,
1951, p.487).
Every man has some exceptional motive to lead their life. Generally, by
born they got some precursory tactics to lead a disciplined life. If any

abnormalities happened in their life they are supposed to unfamiliar
with the neighboring circumstances like as Paul’s life style. By having
the departed souls of his parents he mightn’t grown up as another
children.
2.1 explanation of social and biological factors that influence human
behavior.
In the health and social care sciences there are some influential social
factors these are ……..
Socialization- which is the main factor to live in a sound social
environment. It is an art which to be followed by everyone.
Family- It is the secondly mentionable factor for the children which is
responsible for getting learned by moralities, righteousness & ethics.
Education- education to be achieved for being aware of any unethical
matters.
Culture: It is the art and manifestation of human intellectual
achievement regarded collectively.
Media: it is the main means of mass communication especially by TV,
radio, newspaper or internet.
Environment: the surrounding or conditions in which everything
inclusively man in human life, animal in wild life & plant in green life
lived along each other.
Effects of discrimination: The effect of discrimination can be seen if any
prejudicial treatment of different categories of people or thing.
Task 2. (Understand social and biological determinants of human behavior
displayed in health and social care contexts)
6. 6
2.2 analysis of the importance of social roles in the context of health
and social care settings.
There are some biological factors these are genetics (heredity or
variation of inherited characteristics), traits (quality or characteristics),
blueprints (plan or model),neuro -degenerative disorders ( Parkinson’s,
Alzheimer’s)
For the establishment of health and social context some social roles
must have to be upgraded. The congruency should be established
among the dwellers in the society. It must be ensured that the living
peoples are the same, unique and they have the conformity about the
other subsidiary matters. In the society we are seeing that society are
followed by the regional culture. For that reason, the culture and the
behavior of the living people can be changed or can be seen variation of
their culture. Their expressing process or the language can also vary. In
the society peoples are supposed to live with the company. For that
reason, they live as per making group which can be lived within a
specific area. It is very beneficial to live in an area by making group for
their betterment. Sometimes they are incongruous to each other but
they live in a society for the social security purposes.
7. 7
3.1 analysis of the application of psychological theories to individuals
experiencing elevated levels of stress.
There are some mental & psychological stress which may affect the
health & social care. The stress can be for mental or physical illness or
for the pressure of work.
3.2 analysis of how psychological theories relate to behavior
disturbance.
The behavioral disturbance can be seen if any one got addicted in any
miss-conduct. Autistic disorder is also responsible for this disturbance.
It can be recovered by the occupational therapy or behavioral
management.
3.3 analysis of how psychological theory informs understanding of
mental health disorders.
From the incentive part we apprised that Paul had a mild dyslexia. We
got another information about Paul that rather he had been suffering
from schizophrenia, psychosis like depression.
3.4 evaluation of the application of psychological principles to
affecting behavior change in health and social care settings.
The psychological principle can be evaluated by the very simple
categorization of the nature of the behavior by which they are
measured. The evaluation can be performed by the propagation of
health care, compensation of losses or applying strategical care.
Task 3 :( Understand how psychological theories are applied to health and
social care practice)
8. 8
3.5 analysis of how psychological theories can enhance understanding
of relationships in health and social care.
The enhancement can be augmented by the friends to friends,
neighbors, colleagues, social workers and bla bla bla.
Conclusion: Psychologist are here to make a startup for giving medical
advice, Behavioral management and occupational therapy. People have
to follow themselves for their own betterment.
