Mouchel Infrastructure Services (MIS) is growing and
recruiting hundreds of staff before the end of 2014 to
meet client demand for our services across the UK and
in the Middle East.

on a huge variety of projects so that means our people can
get a great breadth and depth of experience to develop their
careers – and we actively support our PMs to gain external
qualifications such as those provided by the APM.

We’re looking to increase our complement of project
managers as they are vital to the continuing successful
delivery of our work and our ability to grow the business
sustainably.

And we’ve invested in the new role of Head of Project
Management, a post championing continuous improvement
of our people’s capability and in the processes and systems
they use.

Our PMs are engaged across all aspects of MIS’s work in
highways, intelligent transport, transportation, water, maritime,
and energy sectors...and our ability to deliver projects keeps
clients happy and our work profitable. Our PMs are valued for

With a wide geographic spread of offices we can often be
flexible about where our people are based.

We’re investing in our PM capability and in 2013
representatives of our PM community developed, tested and
approved a refreshed best practice toolkit.
We recognise that it is the capability of our people that makes
the crucial difference. Competitors can replicate processes
but they can’t replicate our people, so we also introduced a
PM career path which will allow us to recognise success and
PMs to achieve very senior posts while still doing what they
love – project management – and without having to take on
roles of a more general management nature, if that is what
