Essar in Hazira produces three major types of steel which includes Hot Briquette Iron (HBI), Hot Rolled Coils(HRC) and Iron Plates.

20. How is it Processed? Raw Material :- Vishakhapatnam through cargo that carries 6 MTPA. Raw Material changed to Hot Bricks with the dying machines consisting of rollers at the temperature of 150’C. Part of it is transferred to the HRC module where it is furnished to coils or plates. Rest is converted to DRI at a temperature of more than 650’C
