5. After a sucessfull 50 BSF installation in ‘27 de Junio’ RC La Molina Vieja with RC Holmen Wisconsin decided to install 250 filters with MG66806 in ‘Cerro Camote’ Lurigancho Chosica. We are now looking for partners to add several packages of 100 to 120 filters (average cost $ 100 per filter/ training) to rescue as many families as we can from cosuming highly contaminated water from Rimac river in Lurigancho Chosica, Peru.
6. Water is consumed by communities settled five meters from the river shore (wells) to 10 kmts away; carried by trucks, stored in cilinders, aereal tanks and hosed down to distribution points, to be later carried in buckets to individual homes.
