  1. 1. WATER POLLUTION BY JATIN BATRA IV-C
  2. 2. IMPORTANCE OF WATER WATER IS AN IMPORTANT NATURAL RESOURCE WHICH IS ESSENTIAL FOR ALL LIVING BEINGS. IT IS ESSENTIAL IT IS A HABITAT FOR THE FOR MANY EXISTENCE AND PLANTS AND SURVIVAL OF ALL ANIMALS. PLANTS AND ANIMALS.
  3. 3. RAIN IS THE MAJOR SOURCE OF PURE WATER. RAIN, WHENFORMED, IS THE PUREST FORM OF WATER. AS IT REACHES THESURFACE OF THE EARTH, IT MAY BECOME IMPURE BECAUSE IT DISSOLVES SOME HARMFUL GASES PRESENT IN AIR. IT ALSO DISSOLVES DUST, SMOKE PARTICLES AND GERMS
  4. 4. WATER POLLUTION WATER CONTAINING IMPURITIES IS CALLED POLLUTED WATER.THE PROCESS BY WHICH WATER BECOMES IMPURE IS CALLED WATER POLLUTION. AS RAIN WATER REACHES RIVERS AND LAKES, IT BECOMES FURTHER IMPURE AS SAND AND MUD GET MIXED WITH IT.VARIOUS HUMAN ACTIVITIES INCREASE WATER POLLUTION.
  5. 5. PEOPLE BATHE AND WASH CLOTHES IN RIVER WATER.PEOPLE THROW DOMESTIC WASTE IN RIVERS.WASTE MATERIALS AND HARMFUL CHEMICALS FROM FACTORIES ARE DUMPED IN RIVER WATER.
  6. 6. SOLID WASTE WATER FROM MATERIAL FROM DRAINS ANDPOWER PLANTS IS SEWAGE GOES INTO THROWN INTO RIVERS.THE RIVER WATER.
  7. 7. CHEMICALS USED BYFARMERS FLOW INTO LAKES AND RIVERSAFTER MIXING WITH RAIN WATER. OIL SPILLED TANKERS AND OILWELLS POLLUTES SEA WATER.
  8. 8. INDUSTRIAL AND AGRICULTURAL WASTES INCREASE THE GROWTHPOISONOUS CHEMICALS FROM OF MICRO-ORGANISMS IN WATER. FACTORIES KILL MARINE THIS REDUCES THE SUPPLY OF ANIMALS. OXYGEN FOR THE AQUATIC ANIMALS.
  9. 9. SOME PEOPLE USE OIL SPILLS AQUATIC RIVER OR IF FORM A PLANTS AND POND POLLUTED COVER ON ANIMALS WATER FOR WATER IS THE BECOME DRINKING. USED FORSURFACE OF INFECTED. DRINKING IRRIGATION THE WATER WHEN OTHER POLLUTED , THEWHICH CUTS ANIMALS EAT WATER MAY OFF THE THESE CAUSE FERTILITY SUPPLY OF INFECTED DISEASES OF SOIL IS OXYGEN TO ANIMALS OR LIKE REDUCEDTHE ANIMALS PLANTS, TYPHOID, AND CROPS UNDER THEY ALSO DIARRHOEA, MAY GET WATER. BECOME SICK. CHOLERA, DAMAGED. JAUNDICE ETC.
  10. 10. WASTES FROM FACTORIES AND SHOULD BE PREVENTED FROM BEWATER FROM DRAINS OR SEWAGE POWER PLANTS SHOULD NOTALLOWED TO FLOW INTO RIVERS WITHOUT PURIFICATION.ENTERING INTO WELLS OR RIVERS.PIPES CARRYING SEWAGE SHOULD BE KEPT AWAY FROM THE PIPESCARRYING DRINKING WATER.PEOPLE SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO BATHE OR WASH CLOTHES INRIVERS.THE USE OF CHEMICAL FERTILIZRS SHOULD BE MINIMIZED.INSTEAD,NATURAL MANURE SHOULD BE USED.WASTES FROM FACTORIES AND POWER HOUSES SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWEDTO FLOW INTO RIVERS DIRECTLY WITHOUT PRIOR PURIFICATION.
  11. 11. ALL OF US ARE A PART OF THE SOCIETY. IT IS,THEREFORE, THE RESPONSIBILITY OF EVERY CITIZEN TO KEEP SURRONDINGS CLEAN AND DISEASE FREE.
