This document summarizes the author's experience in an education technology course at the University of Guam in the fall of 2010. The author learned to use various educational technologies like Moodle, Diigo, eBlogger, iMovie, iPhoto, Prezi, PowerPoint, and SlideShare. They created a professional development video about the course and joined a professional learning network on Classroom 2.0. Through this class, the author gained confidence and skills with educational technologies that will help them as a new teacher.

3. I thought I knew it all…

4. Everything Except… Thank Goodness for Dr. Jacqui Cyrus and ED-452 Computers in Education in Fall 2010….

5. And so begins my journey into Technology excellence…

6. First I Moodled some ideas but needed a place to store it….So I Diigo’ed and eBlogger’ed until I couldn’t ignore it…

7. Next, I wanted to present some ideas I had but exerted PowerPoint restraint…So iMovie’d, iPhoto’d and Prezi’d my thoughts until… I lost my patience, went back to Powerpoint and Slideshare’d because I just couldn’t wait…

8. I even had a SecondLife in a virtual world that was difficult to work… but didn’t really like it as much as my default Social Network…

9. The most fun part of this course…was putting on several hats as a director, producer, videographer, script writer, star, narrator and editor of my very own Professional Development video of course!!

10. And the most resourceful part about all this work…Was joining Classroom 2.0 and creating my Professional Learning Network!

11. From there I Shared some ideas, learned about some Media…And was elluminate’d in webinars way more than just plain ol’ Wikipedia!

12. I am satisfied with what I have learned and can’t wait to jump into the classroom where I can say I am Educational Technology Richer…now if I could just have the courage to let go being a student… and move on to becoming aTeacher!
