This week the student filmed preliminary footage for a coursework assignment but found during editing that the storyline did not make sense due to insufficient planning. They will plan their video in more detail next week and refilm to improve the storyline. The student learned they need much more thorough planning for future assignments and final products.

Week 5
This week we have started planning and filming our preliminary task which is
vital for our coursework. We have filmed a variety of shots using the various
rules that need to be applied however when editing we found that we hadn’t
planned in enough detail and our storyline did not make sense. We have
decided to plan a new video in more detail and refilm next week. I now know
that in my final product and any other tasks that the planning needs to be
much more thorough.
