  • #9 Integrating different functions together – IBM Rational Jazz, ERP ratkaisut, Jotkut PDM ratkaisut, Microsoft ympäristö. – tavoitteena siis että saman tuoteperheen alla ratkaisut toimisivat sujuvasti yhteen. Suurimpana haasteena projektien koko ja kesto ja yhden toimittajan ratkaisuun lukittautuminen.Enterprise Service Bus thinking – Data warehouse, ESB ratkaisut. Osa SharePoint ratkaisuista – Tässä haasteena myös projektien koko ja kesto, sekä se että näissä ratkaisuissa rajapinnat määrittelevät tiedon käyttömahdollisuuksia. Myös tiedon reaaliaikaisuutta ja oikeellisuutta ei pystytä takaamaan.Reporting tools – BI ratkaisut, jossain määrin myös portaalit. Nämä ovat näppäriä omassa hommassaan tuomaan tiedon saataville. Näillä ei yleensä tieto pystytä kuitenkaan yhdistämään ja nämä toimivatkin useimmiten raportointityökaluina, eikä operatiivisina työkaluina.
