• Read the description to see if the app does what you

 want/need.

• Read other user's reviews.

• Look for technical support and routine updates.

How to Choose Apps

Don’ts:

• Don’t make your choice based on just one of the Do’s.

• Don’t buy the full version, until you have tried out the
  free (aka lite) version first.

• Don’t keep unused apps on your device, as they are
  taking up valuable space.

Editor's Notes

  • #2 Thank you for affording me the opportunity to speak with you today. I owe a special thank you to Rotary in Pinellas County for sending me as one of two rising high school seniors in 1996 to S4TL. That experience forever shaped my life. I have promoted those same principles and values in the nonprofit, government and educational ‘ institutions all across Florida. How many times have you said. I need a kid to show me how to (insert your electronic device here?) Kids are a whiz when it comes to technology. Adult IT professionals aren't known for their people skills. GadgitSkills unites generations while simultaneously bridging What society calls the digital divide.
  • #3 Technology especially cannot be effectively taught in seminar or classroom settings. GK specializes in person instruction, one-on-one training. GK specializes in customizing the experience to you. Our young people are competent on all types of devices, operating systems and carriers. Your learning objectives are our course agenda. We can teach you the basics or get into specific programs and applications, such as viewing appointments on your phone that you created on your laptop. Most importantly Gks recognizes our clients learning needs and adjusts accordingly.
  • #13 How many times have you heard, there's an app for that? We could talk for days about apps. Essentially, apps enrich in our lives by opening new worlds of information. Mobile devices are the means by which we access apps. We are in the information age. What inventions during your lifetime have directly improved your life? Take answers from audience. Like the 1) age of enlightenment, 2) reconstruction era, 3) industrial revolution, and the 4) space age culture, economies and politics have been fundamentally changed, the information age is transforming the quality of our lives. Will you embrace IT and reconnect with young people who for the first time in history of man have something not just important but I would say is quintessential to share with adults.
