Description:
British Telecom is multinational Telecommunication Services Company. It’s BT Global and Retails
Services division supplies telecoms services to corporate and government customers worldwide, and its BT
Consumer division supplies telephony, broadband and subscription television services in Britain. BT Consumer is
the main retail division of telecommunications company BT Group. The division is responsible for selling consumer
services such as PSTN, BT Total Broadband, BT TV and BT Sport. It buys many of these services from BT's other
divisions: BT Wholesale, BT Global Services and Open reach.BT Products are BT Sport, Phone, BT Mobile
Broadband & TV, Business Broadband , Business Phone Services, Networking Services Business Phone &
Broadband Packages.BT Infinity is a broadband service provided by BT Retail, the consumer sales arm of the BT
Group. The underlying network is fibre-to-the-cabinet (FTTC), which uses optical fibre for all except the final few
hundred metres to the consumer, and delivers claimed download speeds of "up to 76 Mbit/s" and upload speeds of
"up to 19 Mbit/s" depending on package selected. The fibre terminates in a new roadside cabinet containing
a DSLAM, from where the final connection to the customer uses ADSL technology. Unlike ADSL which typically
delivers far lower speeds than the maximum headline speed marketed, BT Infinity usually delivers very close to the
maximum possible. While no reliable results for the new 76 Mbit/s service are available, the previous up to
40 Mbit/s service (now rebranded as up to 38Mbit/s) has been shown to deliver a median speed of 38 Mbit/s. An
additional full fibre-to-the-home service which uses GPON Gigabyte Capable Passive Optical Network) technology
instead is also offered under the BT Infinity brand. This service is expected to reach 300 Mbit/s download speeds in
2012 though this is only available in limited areas.

Description: Wrangler Inc., is one of the biggest MNCs having number of retail stores in many countries that sells
various products. The historical data was maintained in the heterogeneous databases. Since data warehouse plays a
major role in enabling various stores to view the data at a lowest level of granularity and helps them to make
accurate decisions and bring more revenue to company with new policies, this project came into existence.
Different entities of this project were to identify user data from all data sources on diversified systems, Extracting,
Transforming and Loading the data into the data mart. Business Objects reporting tool is used for reporting. created
reports for analysis as per the business analysts requirement.
