Devices that output hard copy
An external hardware device responsible for taking computer data and generating a hard copy of that data. Printers are one of the most commonly used peripherals and they print text and still images on the paper.
Impact printers use a device to strike an inked ribbon, pressing ink from the ribbon onto the paper.
Non-impact printers use different methods to place ink (or another substance) on the page.
(1) DPI:
It is a measurement of printer’s resolution indicating how many ink dots can be placed by the printer in one square inch. The higher the DPI, the sharper is image. Image quality – Measured in dots per inch (dpi). Most printers produce 300 – 1200 dpi.
(2) Type of printer:
Each type of printer has its own capabilities of printing. Some types of printers produce high quality print while other produce low quality print.
(3) Print Mode:
The printing mode may also affect the quality. For example the draft mode increases the print rate but quality is reduced.
(4) Toner:
The quality and amount of toner also affects print quality.
In computers, a printer is a device that accepts text and graphic output from a computer and transfers the information to paper, usually to standard size sheets of paper. Printers are sometimes sold with computers, but more frequently are purchased separately. Printers vary in size, speed, sophistication, and cost. In general, more expensive printers are used for higher-resolution color printing. https://isotechline.com/

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

Synthetic Fiber Construction in lab .pptxPavel ( NSTU)
Synthetic fiber production is a fascinating and complex field that blends chemistry, engineering, and environmental science. By understanding these aspects, students can gain a comprehensive view of synthetic fiber production, its impact on society and the environment, and the potential for future innovations. Synthetic fibers play a crucial role in modern society, impacting various aspects of daily life, industry, and the environment. ynthetic fibers are integral to modern life, offering a range of benefits from cost-effectiveness and versatility to innovative applications and performance characteristics. While they pose environmental challenges, ongoing research and development aim to create more sustainable and eco-friendly alternatives. Understanding the importance of synthetic fibers helps in appreciating their role in the economy, industry, and daily life, while also emphasizing the need for sustainable practices and innovation.

• How dose a printer work?
• Types of printer and it`s usages.

3. WHAT IS
PRINTER?
A printer is a device that
accepts text and graphic
output from a computer
and transfers the
information to paper,
usually to standard-size,
8.5" by 11" sheets of
paper. Printers vary in
size, speed,
sophistication and cost
3
4. HOW A PRINTER WORKS?
4
At the basic level, printers work by converting digital images and text into physical copies. They
do this using a driver or specialized software that has been designed to convert the file into a
language that the printer can understand. The image or text is then recreated on the page
using a series of minuscule dots. The only real difference between various types of printers is
the method by which the dots are transferred onto a page.
6. 1) TYPS OF IMPACT PRINTER & IT`S
USAGES:
a) CHARACTER PRINTER:
• Print one character at a time
• Slower then line printer.
• Also known as serial printer.
Use: Today, these printers are rarely used because of speed
issues and because only text can be printed.
ex: daisy wheel , dot matrix printer
6
Dot Metrix printer
Daisy wheel
printer
7. 1) TYPS OF IMPACT PRINTER & IT`S
USAGES:
7
b) LINE PRINTER:
• Can print one line at a time.
• Can not print graphics.
• Make a lot of noise.
ex: chains, drums and bands.
Chain printer drum printer
Use: Although they have been replaced in
most instances by high-speed laser printers,
they are still used in some business as they
are low cost and have the ability to print on
multi-part forms
8. 2) TYPS OF NON-IMPACT PRINTER &
IT`S USAGES:
a) INKJET PRINTER:
• It has a print head that sprays ink using small nozzles on
a page.
• Good for high-quality images and graphics.
• Can produce both black and white and colored prints on
paper.
• Good for personal use.
• Its slow if you need more than one page.
• Make less noise.
8
Inkjet
printer
use: inkjet printer is use for home, photographers, and
businesses.
Since inkjet printing doesn’t need a warm up time,
they’re easier and more convenient to use in office
settings.
9. 2) TYPS OF NON-IMPACT PRINTER &
IT`S USAGES:
9
b) LASER PRINTER:
• Printouts are resistant to water.
• Faster as compared to dot matrix and inkjet printer
• Makes no noise while printing
• Its Expensive
Laser printer
Use: Businesses use laser printers
almost exclusively because they have the
reputation of being reliable while making
a quality print product.
10. 2) TYPS OF NON-IMPACT PRINTER &
IT`S USAGES:
c) THERMAL PRINTER:
• It use heat for producing the image on the paper.
• popular for to their speed, advanced tech and high quality
print..
• Do not use ink .
• Less expensive.
• Come in deferent sizes.
10
Inkjet printer
Thermal paper
Note: thermal receipt paper has different layers of heat-
sensitive chemicals that create text or images.
Use: Because of it`s technological advances it has
become increasingly popular and is mostly used
in airline, banking, entertainment, retail, grocery,
and healthcare industries.
