factorization are the factor tree
and the continuous division.

Factor Tree Method
1.Think of any factors of the given
number.
2.If the two factors are not yet
prime, write each of them as the
product of any 2 factors again, Keep
going until you have only prime
numbers.

Find the prime factors of 40.
