2. Beat creation, endless search for artists simply oozing with uniqueness, ciphers, self-
doubt and questioning, the Blues pointed that he had to face, question and seek the
answers to things buried in the past, things he thought he’d never have to face, with the
Mechanics’ Executive Producer in tow Bertrum Joshua, the marked how emotionally,
physically, mentally and spiritually toiling it was to create this album, not to mention
going from one studio to another due to one problem or another and the financial strain
it took
Working with Eddy & K.G. of Oddxperienc, Brain, Henry, Andile of Awesombuka
Photography and countless more, the emcee thanked every single artist and fan for
following the Music Mechanics Blog, Facebook Page and Twitter account, On the 4th of
January the Music Mechanics ran a campaign called Tips Of The Tape which was
designed and specifically created to allow express their perspectives and skill on simple
yet profound concepts such as Life, Love, Hate, War, Peace and so forth, the campaign
being the first step towards The Music Mechanic’s up and coming event The Cloud Of
Sound
In an interview Blues said “in music there’ll always be artists simply here for the money,
fame, and other reasons but music, throughout history we’ve had your Vanilla Ice,
Hurricane Chris (Aye Bay Bay), Mike Jones, Soldier Boy, now we’ve got the little wayne
generation breeding young thug, rich gang and many other but I can bet my vocal cords
10 months from now you won’t even remember their faces not to even speak about
lyrics, for some of us music is everything, we eat, sleep, dance, cry, hate, love, life, feel
music, so when the Mechanics create music, consider it a step towards playing musical
chairs with Bob Marley, Tupac, Teddy Pantegrass, Jabu Khanyile, Brenda Fassie and All
The Greats
