U.S. based producer MuzikM4n first began experimenting with electronic music in 2010 by combining melodic synths with acoustic elements throughout. MuzikM4n has blended some of the best components of commercially appealing dance music and layered it with lush chord progressions, uplifting vocals, cinematic atmosphere, and vibrant rhythms to create his own signature sound.
With his passionate drive, MuzikM4n continues working on and improving his craft in the studio, experimenting with electronic music that not only evokes strong emotions but that will also stand the test of time. In his own words, he continues to “Make music that is relevant in an ever-changing music industry. I want to make timeless music that people will listen to for years and not just weeks.”

2. Muzikm4n – Growing Up On Genesis
I'll start by saying that music has been part of my life since I was born, as my dad always
played Genesis & Phil Collins (two different artists believe it or not) before I was born but
also after as well.
I have home videos from 1992 (age 3) of me watching The Way We Walk Live Genesis
concert or Phil Collins live concert from the But Seriously Tour on VHS (and for a very brief
period, Laser-disc!) Tony Banks is my all-time favorite keyboard player for a band, ever.

4. Muzikm4n – Musical Taste Growth
During my adolescent years, I expanded my taste for music a bit, but it was not my main
love in life at the time, but I was in a phase of discovering new music from “The OC” (which
revolutionized music in television and expanded my tastes). My favorite music at the time
was Evanescence, Dido, along with film music. I was obsessed with the catchy melodies and
cinematic vibes that certain music portrayed, so my musical knowledge was beginning to
increase and my tastes were beginning to form into what would eventually become that
signature Muzikm4n sound.
5. Muzikm4n loves the Portland Trail Blazers
Growing up, I was compared to a young Steve Nash during pickup games, but I never gave
the 400% work ethic required to become a professional athlete. I've been a massive fan of
the Portland Trail Blazers since 1999 (This was the series where Portland blew a 15 point
lead in the 4th quarter of game 7 of the western conference finals and LOST to the Lakers,
who won their 1st title as the Kobe/Shaq/Jackson trio that year).
Needless to say the team has been cursed since 1978 when Bill Walton and the entire team
got injured after winning their 1st and only NBA championship in 1977. But I still follow
them today and will continue to follow them!
6. Muzikm4n - Band Experiences – Part 1
By the end of high school, music was becoming more of a unique part of myself, as I began
to embrace more live playing opportunities by joining in the church praise band as a
keyboard player, along with other one-off type gigs.
In 2008, I co-created an album called "Rendezvous" with my good friend Brooks Lee under
the alias General Aquatic (or Estranged Aquatic post 2014). He played the guitars, bass, and
most of the vocal parts on the album, while I played keyboard/piano and acted more as the
producer. We both mixed the album together and have since written a few singles since that
point, but no other major releases (YET).
7. Muzikm4n - Band Experiences – Part 2
For a couple years, I was dying to become part of a band that played live and also had that
sound I was looking for that incorporated keyboards into modern rock. I was looking to be a
keyboard player for a group that had that Coldplay or U2 sound with a mix of prog rock.
In 2009, I joined a local alternative/electro rock band in the NC State area called Jant, but
was let go less than a year after joining (probably because I had 4 keyboards in my rig) and
this inspired me to go home that night after my night class and began diving into
researching what else I could do in the music industry with my skills. This led to my
discovery of production library music and custom scoring opportunities!

9. Muzikm4n – Discovering Music Licensing
This research led to me learning about licensing music to production
music libraries, and I spent a few years writing over 200 instrumentals.
These were signed to music libraries and they also helped to improve
my production and composition chops by taking a quantity over quality
approach at the beginning of my producer education. At this point, I
was itching to find more ways to make this a full time career, which led
to the discovery of my love for film scores.
10. Muzikm4n – Passion For Film Music
I grew up with an innate love for the music of John Williams, being immersed
in classics like E.T., Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Superman, and
most recently Hans Zimmer's scoring work such as Man of Steel, Inception,
Lion King, The Dark Knight trilogy led to my passion being reborn.
These influences not only added to the sound in Muzikm4n, but led to the
idea that film scoring could be a full time career!
11. Muzikm4n – 2012-2017 Years
From 2010-2017 I focused on slowly learning more about music
production, the business, and scoring to visual media, while composing
scores for numerous short films and creating a variety of music styles
for stock production libraries, all while college getting degrees from
Wake Tech Community College and UNC Greensboro in North
Carolina.
12. Muzikm4n becomes
In July 2017, the first Muzikm4n song "Night Power" was released on all platforms,
and since that point things have been looking up for Muzikm4n! Consistently
releasing 1 song per month has created an excitement and weight to the work I've
been doing, giving purpose and meaning to the sound. Improving upon each release
is the main goal, along with creating music that truly moves the fans!
In 2019, Muzikm4n moves to California to make a full-time career out of music with his
cat Swarley and his girlfriend Brittny!
Remember: HAPPINESS IS THE ROAD
