3. Double page spread
I attracted my audience through the use of the
bright bold image of my artist as it is eye catching
because of the contrast it has with the text and
white background colour. In addition the contents
of the article will appeal through uses and
gratifications to those who are interested in
surveillance as it is all about what my artist gets
up to while at work. The quotation also
attracts/addresses my reader because it will
intrigue them into finding out what was “the best
by far”. Also, the font which is very different to the
text makes it stand out and catches the eye of the
audience.
Contents Page
I also attracted/addressed my audience through my contents page. Firstly the
image of my artist is brightly coloured and contrasts its white background. Also,
the image of Alt-J will attract consumers of my music magazine because Alt-J is
famous to the genre Moloko represents.
The fact that I have separated the contents of my magazine under either
features, news, reviews and gigs, along with the fact that each article is
numbered makes it easier for the reader to go to the article they want to read
easily without any hassle.
