Within the global economy, and in line with the dominant trend of rapid change, the ability to
independently satisfy the energy demand plays an important role in planning the future of any country.
Ministry of Energy of Serbia sent in early 2013.. Public invitation to potential investors for the
implementation of 317 small hydro sites. Local governments have offered possible sites in their territory.
 Company IDEAL ENERGY, Ltd. , according to the results of the public call, given the opportunity to
convert SHP "Vršuma" in the municipality of Tutin
Renewable Energy
Description of project
Within the framework design phase of the project documentation completed the following activities:
 Made the identification of the requirements for locating individual objects (water intake, pipeline route,
building mechanical systems, etc..) Future hydropower.
 Data were collected on the available infrastructure: car, electric, etc..,To provide an indication of the
necessary future infrastructure.
 Were carried out surveys of the general area of future hydropower.
 Were carried out hydrological analysis of water flows and certain relevant hydrological parameters on the
basis of:
data from hydrological and meteorological stations RHMZ Serbia.
Were performed comparative hydrological measurements at water flow
The adopted technical solution SHPPs Vršuma the derivation plant, which consists of the following
facilities:
water intake of settling,
pipelines under pressure,
powerhouse and
drains turbines.
Technical details of the SHPPs:
 Medium flow Qsr 0.37 m3 / s
 Installed flow SQinst 0.56 m3 / s
 elevation above water 845.5 m
 tailwater elevation 784.0 m
 decline in gross power 61.5 m
 Net decrease in Q inst 56.2 m
 Pipeline diameter 0.55 m
 Pipeline length 1 141 m

The adopted technical solution of sHPP
SHPPs Vršuma is located in the municipality of Tutin, which is electricity
supplied by ED Tutin. Powerhouse small hydro is about 300 m from the existing 10
kV transmission line.
The analysis to come to a socket SHP Vršuma was at 10 kV busbars in TC 10/0, 4
kV "Carina" maximum power that can be connected to a 259.5 kVA
Analysis of conditions and possibilities for connection
to the electric system of sHPP
(Water) intake structure
(Water) intake structure
To collect water envisages the construction of "lateral" of engagement with
the settling of the chainage approximately 1280 m, measured from the
confluence of the rivers in the river Ibar. Sizing intake structures is performed
so that it enables the abstraction of the planned amount of water of 0.55 m3 /
s. Water intake structure is designed to settling on the left bank of the river.
The total length of the building is 21 meters. Technical solutions, construction
of a water intake structures consisting of the following parts:
• lateral intake,
• precipitators
• Drain cleaning area upstream of the barrier layers,
• overflow work procedures,
• equipment intake
Location powerhouse is planned on the right bank of the river, "River", just above
the mouth of the river Ibar. Power house SHPPs "Vršuma" is designed according to
the technological and functional requirements so that it can be placed into two
units. It is also within the building provided the space to be used for access to the
plant, assembly and disassembly of equipment and maintenance.

  • 2. Within the global economy, and in line with the dominant trend of rapid change, the ability to independently satisfy the energy demand plays an important role in planning the future of any country. Ministry of Energy of Serbia sent in early 2013.. Public invitation to potential investors for the implementation of 317 small hydro sites. Local governments have offered possible sites in their territory.  Company IDEAL ENERGY, Ltd. , according to the results of the public call, given the opportunity to convert SHP "Vršuma" in the municipality of Tutin Renewable Energy Description of project Within the framework design phase of the project documentation completed the following activities:  Made the identification of the requirements for locating individual objects (water intake, pipeline route, building mechanical systems, etc..)   • 3. The adopted technical solution SHPPs Vršuma the derivation plant, which consists of the following facilities: water intake of settling, pipelines under pressure, powerhouse and drains turbines. Technical details of the SHPPs:  Medium flow Qsr 0.37 m3 / s  Installed flow SQinst 0.56 m3 / s  elevation above water 845.5 m  tailwater elevation 784.0 m  decline in gross power 61.5 m  Net decrease in Q inst 56.2 m  Pipeline diameter 0.55 m  Pipeline length 1 141 m  TypeTurbines Francis and banks  Inatalisana power 180 +60 kW The adopted technical solution of sHPP
  • 4. SHPPs Vršuma is located in the municipality of Tutin, which is electricity supplied by ED Tutin. Powerhouse small hydro is about 300 m from the existing 10 kV transmission line. The analysis to come to a socket SHP Vršuma was at 10 kV busbars in TC 10/0, 4 kV "Carina" maximum power that can be connected to a 259.5 kVA Analysis of conditions and possibilities for connection to the electric system of sHPP

(Water) intake structure (Water) intake structure To collect water envisages the construction of "lateral" of engagement with the settling of the chainage approximately 1280 m, measured from the confluence of the rivers in the river Ibar. Sizing intake structures is performed so that it enables the abstraction of the planned amount of water of 0.55 m3 / s. Water intake structure is designed to settling on the left bank of the river. The total length of the building is 21 meters.   • 6. Location powerhouse is planned on the right bank of the river, "River", just above the mouth of the river Ibar. Power house SHPPs "Vršuma" is designed according to the technological and functional requirements so that it can be placed into two units.
