7. SMARTFLEET INDIVIDUAL CASH CARDS FLEET OPERATOR WILL BE ALLOTTED A UNIQUE FLEET OPERATOR ID UNDER WHICH REQUIRED NUMBER OF VEHICLEWISE PREPAID OPTION CARDS WILL BE GIVEN. At the back of the card “Individual Cash Card” will be written WHAT IS PREPAID OPTION? Required amount for a particular trip has to be loaded in the particular card at the Origination point, which can be used for purchase of fuel, oil at the Selected Retail outlets. Daily & Monthly spent limits for individual cards can be set on the instruction of the Fleet operator. Cash Management System (CMS) The money is kept on a central account which can be accessed by all the cards The central account can be recharged either through the terminal or by going to selected branches of some banks. What is CMS? A CMS card can be identified by the words CMS written at the back of the card. Because of this all transactions are “On-line” that is why the terminal will have to connect to the Host to complete the transaction. Major benefits compared to Individual Cash card are blockage of funds for the fleet operator can be avoided and he can set the Spend limits for individual vehicles through internet or mobile phones.

The Working of CMS The Transporter is in Delhi He sends his truck to Hyderabad After the truck reaches, he visits a SmartFleet Pump in Delhi He could also visit the branch of the bank Handover the amount to be loaded to the cashier with a deposit slip Hands over a card and the amount to be loaded to the DSM.
