Network for Electronic Transfers (NETS) is Singapore's national electronic payment processing system. It processes payments from NETS debit cards and EFTPOS terminals, and has over 35,000 terminals and 15,000 merchants. NETS provides point of sale, funds transfer, ATM withdrawal, stored value payments, online payments and mobile payments services. It was founded in 1985 and introduced Singapore's first national debit network. Today NETS is the largest merchant acquirer in Singapore and offers multiple payment services including NETS FlashPay cards, eNETS online payments, and processing transactions for OCBC and UOB banks.
