This document discusses efforts by the Bogor Ciliwung Community in Indonesia to improve public participation in conserving the Ciliwung River. The Ciliwung River faces threats from rubbish, waste, and riparian conversion. The KPC (Ciliwung River Care Community) was formed to address these issues through regular cleanups, reforestation activities, and educational campaigns. Their work has shown the importance of public involvement in conservation efforts. However, challenges remain in further strengthening cooperation between community groups and maintaining participation.
