Methodist College of Engineering and Technology is hosting a two-day National Level Technical Symposium called "Forstefiesta'14" on February 25-26, 2014 and is inviting organizations to sponsor the event. 2. The symposium expects to attract around 3000 students from approximately 400 colleges and will feature various technical competitions and workshops. 3. Sponsors will receive logo placement on souvenirs distributed to all participants and advertising through print, electronic, and social media coverage of the event.

colleges are expected to attend the symposium.

Tag the model:

Tag the model is about naming the various
mechanical devices ,components of various
instruments . The model will be displayed on
projector screen and you need to key out the
component.

Robotics:

Robo Race:The sprint event, a short
distance race ( 9 Meters). The objective
of this task is to test the ability of the robot
to move in a straight direction in the
shortest time possible.

Monster Race:The event is an endurance
race with no time limit. The objective is to
run the robot in all directions with Good
Grip over the All Terrain Track.

Robo Challenge:This station challenge
your brain. The objective of the check
the maze solving ability of the robot
operator in the possible quickest time.

Line Follower:This Even challenges the maximum speed at which
your Robot can walk and the ability to maintain its directional
Stability on a Black and White Colour Track.

Robo Soccer:The robot must move from one end of the playing field
to the other as quickly as possible. The robot must navigate to the
Goal and score the points. The Goal will be setup with an obstacle.
