This project report describes the development of an online examination system. The system was created to allow for online tests to be taken, evaluated, and results determined efficiently without time wasted. It uses PHP for the back-end and MySQL for the database. The system aims to be less time consuming and more efficient than paper-based exams. Various data tables were created to store user account and testing information. Screenshots demonstrate the system interface. The report concludes that the online exam system was developed using PHP and MySQL and reached a stable state with all bugs eliminated.

3. Synopsis
PURPOSE:
 The purpose of on-line test simulator is to take online test in an
efficient manner and no time wasting for checking the paper.
 The main objective of on-line test simulator is to efficiently
evaluate the candidate thoroughly through a fully automated
system.
SCOPE:
 This can be used in educational institutions as well as in corporate
world.
 Can be used anywhere any time as it is a web based
application(user location doesn’t matter).
 No restriction that examiner has to be present when the candidate
takes the test.

• In comparison to the present system the proposed system will

21. Conclusion
The Online Examination System has developed using
PHP and MySQL. The system has reached a steady state
where all bugs have been eliminated. The system is
