This document presents a proposed online food reservation system project. The problem statement identifies issues with the current manual system including difficulty comparing catering company prices and data entry errors. The objectives are to design an online system to facilitate customer comparisons and transactions and solve data problems. The scope outlines system functions for admins, customers, and caterers. Methodology, frameworks, diagrams, and software/hardware requirements are also presented. Interface mockups are shown for customer/caterer registration and login and the homepage. The expected result is a web-based booking system to help users search and book efficiently while avoiding double bookings.
