This document outlines the Chinese curriculum for Prep C students at CDNIS. It discusses what topics students will learn about, such as animals, transportation, and daily routines. 4. Class formation
There are 7 Chinese Studies classes in Prep.
There are about 17 to 18 children in each
Chinese class, as compared to 20 in Homerooms.
There are no levels among the 7 classes.

1.Download “QR code reader” apps from your mobile phone
2.Scan the code on the reading book
3.Start to listen as frequent as you can
16. Observation
The teachers will be observing the children
throughout the year during the learning and teaching
process, in order to assess their development in term
of Listening & Speaking, Reading and Writing skills.!
Observation will be carried out while the kids are
singing and saying rhymes, write characters, having
simple conversation taught, doing role plays, being
engaged in reading simple books, recognizing words
taught, etc.

Check teacher’s blog regularly!
Encourage your child review/read worksheets in the
folder and sing songs to you !
Review and play Characters cards with your child
Remind your child to bring back on Mondays his/her:!
