• Your goal is to create 5 different delicious soups for the people attending
• You must make a shopping list
• You must work out the cost of your dinner party
• You must create recipes for each soup
• Bonus: design bowels with a prehistoric theme

• Name: Giganto Soup
• How much needed (480ml x 7) = (3,360ml)
• Ingredients:
• Fin (soup stock) (500ml x 4) = (2,000ml)
• Soup bones (soup stock) (500ml x 2) = (1000ml)
• Purple turnup (ingredient) (100ml x 3) = (300 ml)
• Garlic (ingredient) (60ml x 1) = (60 ml)
• The sum of the ingredients listed above equal 3,360ml

• Name: Fruit People Soup
• How much needed (360ml x 3) = (1080ml)
• Ingredients:
• Purple turnup (ingredient) (100ml x 6) = (600ml)
• Wild sea-beet beetroot (ingredient) (200ml x 2) = (400ml)
• Peas (ingredient) (60ml x 3) = (180ml)
• The sum ingredients listed above equal 1080ml
• Note!! You must remember that the vegetarian soup stock is water! And water is free!

• You are completing this task in your math books
• You must rule your page down the middle
• You must use pencil
• You are making a draft of each soup you need
• Make sure to read the instructions
• Share the ingredients list with the person next to you
• Work as a group, help each other and help others
• Don’t rush this activity, you will have more time next week to finish it
• Most importantly have fun!!
8. What to do if your draft is finish
• You may begin planning and creating your prehistoric soup booklet
• Your booklet will be made of two A4 sheets stapled together
• You will have 6 pages inside to work with, a cover and back page
• You may utilise these pages however you like, however, makes sure you have enough pages for each soup
you have made
• 1. Make your work look neat
• 2. Make sure to incorporate drawings of the soups
• 3. Make sure to give it an amazing cover!
