• You will use these 3 art pieces to create on piece of abstract art
• You will write about how you brought together the pieces of art and
how the new artwork was created
4. TURNING MUSIC INTO VISUAL
ARTS
• From your desk you will…
• Listen to 4 different songs
• While listening you will draw shapes, sketches or
representations of what you hear in the music
5. DRAWING YOUR IDEAS
• Each of the bottom boxes is dedicated to one song
and your ideas
• In the bottom box begin to draw what you here in
each song
• Each box will be used for each separate song
• Leave the large box at the top empty
7. ACTIVITY 2
• You will combine your 3 art pieces into one abstract art image
• On the template provided draw your image in the large box
• Use the 3 small boxes at the bottom of your page for inspiration when
creating your large abstract piece
8. ACTIVITY 2; PART 2
• Once your image is completed
• On the back of your sheet write about the final art piece you have
created
• You must include at least 2 sub headings about the art you created
• Use these sub headings to help fill out the back

9. GALLERY WALK
• Place your art on your desk and stand behind your seat
• Walk as a table group clockwise
• Rotate around the room until you return to your original position
• Next, listen for your name and provide some nice feedback for an art
piece you have seen
