The outline as explained in chapter 3, is the basic
structure, which helps in organisation of information. The
thesis planned shall contain chapter number and proposed
names, their subheads and their each subheads, major
points they need to be discussed in details. Once you have
chapter by chapter plan ready thesis writing will no longer
seem an unachievable task.
Once your basic structure is ready, it is necessary to
discuss with your guide, who will have important it sights
to give. This will improve your quality of thesis and
provide your guide with an outline.Which helps him
compare your overall thesis.
TIPS TO PRERARE AN OUTLINE IN TECHNICAL
WRITING:
1. Read the text / know the purpose.
2. Suit on opt title.
3. Underline all the important ideas using pencil in
the text.
4. Prepare a list of the important ideas, examples
etc…
5. Suit sub-title for them.
6. Organise them logically.
7. Review it carefully.
8. Prepare an outline in standard format.
9. Recheck whether any point / ideas are missing.
10. Double–check the spelling,grammer, punctuation
marks.
11. Avoid using

 Preposition
 Connective
 Repeated words
 Some sentence form
12. List out the powerful points only.
13. Avoid over writing.
14. Finalize it after the steps.
