The above were exam days so I experienced the procedure of how and 1/20/09 8.0
why scheduled and assisted the principal in the hallway being visible
to assist in smooth flow of the day.
This entire week started with my arriving at 6:30 am for 6:40 bus duty 1/21/09-1/ 8.0
either with both start and finish of the day. I worked with student 30/09 9.5
services; with the team in talking to students and had the opportunity 9.5
under the supervision of administration mentors to handle discipline 9.5
referrals ranging from simple minor infractions of code of conduct to a 9.5
situation involving local law enforcement, all very encompassing and 9.5
beneficial in learning all phases of student services
Day starts at bus ramp, 6:40 am. Ends after supervision of student 2/6/09
parking lot around 2:30 pm.
Team meeting approximately 3:30, worked on FCAT writer prep,
prepared teachers testing packets. Student conference re: parking lot
incident. Attended after school basketball/soccer/performing arts
events.

schedule. We also prepared paperwork for curriculum
department and designating our course offerings. Also prepared 2/10/09 9
FCAT writing materials and proctored/monitored testing area-
collected materials and handled pupil/teacher problem during 2/13/09 9
testing along with these activities. Attended soccer game after
school/supervision

then to student services dealt with transportation problem-
called Transportation Department of Lee County School
District Took parent call re: daughter running away, referred to
community service office.

3. Activity Date Hours
This is my final week; I worked with Mrs. Thimlar, AP of 3/16-20/09 24
facilities. We toured the campus with her introducing me to
all maintenance staff. During the course of this week we
met with painters to organize painting the building
We met with Mr. McDonald to have a meeting to assess 4
what building repairs needed to be done. Finally I was
shown how to put in requests for work orders on the
computers. All in all I found this part of my internship very
rewarding and a culminating experience.
