AUDITORIUM:
An auditorium is a room built to enable an
audience to hear and watch performances at venues such
as theaters.

4. METHOD OF DESIGN:
Limit state method
The structure shall be designed to
withstand safely all loads liable to act on it throughout its
life, it shall also satisfy the serviceability requirements
before failure occurs.

5. CODE BOOK USED:
Indian standard 456:2000
This standard deals with the general structure use of plain
and reinforced concrete.
For the purpose of this standard, plain concrete structures
are those where reinforcement, if provided is ignored for
determination of strength of the structure.
Indian standard 800:2007
This standard applies to general construction using hot
rolled steel sections joined using riveting, bolting and welding.
Specific provisions for bridges,chimneys,cranes, etc are
covered in separate standards.

the user with a variety of functions for creating and
manipulating the picture.

To design and analyzing the structure using limit

COLUMN
A member in upright position which supports a
roof or floor system and predominantly subjected to
compression.
BEAM
A member subjected predominantly to bending.

8. STRUCTURAL DESIGN:
CURVED BEAMS
Arches are in fact beams with an initial
curvature. The curvature is visible only in elevation.
In plan they would appear straight. But there are also
beams which are curved in plan.
Curved beams, in addition to bending
moments and shears would also develop torstional
moments.
