This document outlines the expectations and policies for a 2nd grade math class. It discusses the teacher's philosophy of education which is to never stop learning and doing good. 3. Attendance
Policy
Every Day Counts, School Success Starts With
ATTENDANCE
 School starts at 8:00 A.M. Be in your seats ready
to learn.
 If you are not at school before 8 o’clock go to the
office for a tardy slip.
 Three tardies will cause you to get 1 unexcused
absent.
 Three unexcused absents will cause you to get a
referral note.

4. Scale
 Grades are recorded daily in the grade book.
 Grades are recorded weekly on the computer in
SAMs.

5. Policy
 Homework is given daily.
 If classwork is not completed, it should be
finished at home.
 Homework will be an independent practice of
what has been taught during guided practice and
center time.

6. Re-do Policy
One opportunity to re-do an
assignment or test will be
given on Wednesdays of the
next week.
