3. They met when Astrophil
was only 19.

4. Even though she was
a little younger...

6. He didn’t believe in love...
thinking it was for weak men.

8. Then he met Stella...

10. Astrophil was swept away
by Stella’s golden
hair, black eyes, and delicate features.

12. Stella’s fathers dying wish
was for the two to marry.

14. Astrophil was happy to respond
back and confirm their agreement.

15. But Stella’s mother remarried,
and her new stepfather wouldn’t
hear of it.

17. Their Love was torn apart

18. Forced to betray the one she loves
and marry another man

she remained true to her vows.

21. So he loved her even more...

22. And even though Stella loved him back
she did not desire him
the way he did her.

24. So Astrophil tries to convince Stella
to change her mind

26. ...even stealing a kiss while
she slept.

28. Stella ends the relationship

30. The thought of losing Astrophil
devastates Stella, but there’s no
other way to remain devoted to her husband.

31. No longer able to face the day
...the night becomes his life.

32. Stella becomes ill

33. Astrophil must reevaluate his feelings
of despair and torment.

35. With a new perspective,
his tone is now optimistic

37. Astrophil feels he must remind Stella
of how much he loves her.

38. Astrophil serenades her...

40. Stella is furious.

41. After all, she did ask him to leave her
alone.
