Typing on a Slide During a Presentation Go to the  View  menu, slide down to  Toolbars , and then slide over to  Control Toolbox .  Click one time to display the toolbox. Click on the  Text Box button  (circled in red above). The mouse cursor turns into a crosshair.  Click and drag diagonally to draw a text box.  Must be in presentation mode  and  click inside the text box to type.
Changing the Font Size of the Text Box Right-click on the text box and select  Properties .  Select  Font .  After you select the  Font Line , a control box appears at the right end of the font line (See Red ring). Click on the  Control Box  to bring up a font change menu.

AutoShapes To activate the Drawing toolbar above, select  View menu   Toolbars   Drawing . From the pull-up menu, choose the desired shape. When you select a shape, your cursor will become a crosshair (+) when you move it over the slide.  Press and drag the cursor until the object reaches the desired size.
 
Formatting an AutoShape Right Click on the Object. Choose  Format Aut o shape .  Check out the ' Fill Effects ' options on the paintbucket menu.
Resizing and Moving Autoshapes Click on the "handles," in the same way used to format text boxes and images. Rotate  the object by left clicking on the object and moving the green rotating handle.   Tip:   hold down the SHIFT key to move objects across a straight line.
3D & Duplicating Left click on the AutoShape From the Drawing Toolbar, Choose the  3D Style Left click on the AutoShape Press  Ctrl-D Tip- Use Ctrl-D & the arrow keys to keep objects in relation to one another
 
Grouping AutoShapes Hold the Ctrl or Shift key down.  Left click on  all but  one  of the objects.  Right click on the last one. Choose  G rouping  from the Drop down menu.  Select  G roup . To Ungroup, right click on the object. Choose  Grouping  from the Drop down menu. Select  U ngroup . Tip:  Use the  Control key  to select 1 object at a time in the order that you desire. Use the  Shift Key  to select multiple objects in a row.

Hyperlinks Active hyperlinks  may take you to a different slide in the current presentation, different presentation altogether, a non-PowerPoint document, or even an Internet Web page. Run a program:  this hyperlink action opens another program such as Microsoft Word or Excel.
Creating a Hyperlink Right-click on the object and select  Hyperlink   Select the destination or action (to link to another slide, choose “Place in this Document" and then choose the slide you want).
Click on the slanted A  at the bottom of the drawing toolbar or click on  I nsert  P icture      WordArt . Select a  W ordArt style .  In the Edit WordArt Text dialog box, replace “ Your Text Here ” with your text. Click  OK  and place it where you want it. Word Art

Slide Master Click  View  Master  Slide Master  from the menu bar.  Format it like a regular slide by selecting text formatting, bullet/lists formatting, adding background patterns and effects, and setting footers. Adding Sound From a File Click on  Insert menu    Movies and Sounds   Sound from File In the  Look in  drop-down menu, specify the drive and folder where the sound file is located.  In the file list, click the sound file you want, then click OK.  PowerPoint may ask you whether you want the sound to play automatically or on mouse-click. If you choose mouse click, you will need to click the icon during the presentation to start it playing. Tip:  Download and save the file on your computer, preferably in the same folder with your PowerPoint presentation.
Repeating / Looping a Sound  Right click on the Sound Object.  Choose  Custom Animation . Click on the  inverted Triangle .  Choose  Effects Options .  On the Effects Tab, choose  Stop playing after  and type in a number.  On the Timing tab, choose  repeat  and type in a number.  Click  OK .
