The document analyzes the power consumption of an Internet of Things (IoT) network based on Wemos devices. The network monitors temperature and luminosity data from sensors at different locations using Wemos modules connected to DHT22 and TSL2561 sensors. The Wemos transmit the sensor data to an ESP8266 device every 0.5 or 1 minute, which then sends it to a NodeRed MQTT broker and MongoDB database. Battery life and communication quality are evaluated under different transmission frequencies. Results show that battery life is proportional to the transmission frequency, with longer life at 1 minute versus 0.5 minute transmissions, while communication quality decreases slightly with less frequent transmissions.
