Possessive adjectives show ownership. There are two forms - singular and plural. The singular form (e.g. her, his) shows ownership by one person or thing. The plural form (e.g. their, ours) shows ownership by two or more people or things. Examples are given such as "her house", "his dog", "their house", and "our dog".
