1. Hero
My hero is Kylian Mbappé. He is a footballer in Paris Saint Germain
Football Club. He is a French and was born on December 20,1998.
He is 19 years old and he already is a brilliant player. He is medium
size (1,78m) and very young.
He is my hero, because he plays football very well, has technique
and he has a lot of speed.
I have chosen to write about him because I’d like to be like him,
he is skilled for football and although he plays football next to one
of the best players in the world (Neymar Junior), he still has one
important role in the team.

2. MY HERO
My parents are my heroes but I consider them two in one so I can say they are
my hero. We don’t need to wear a mask or a cape to be a real super hero, for
example, like Spiderman and Batman. We simply need to be ourselves to be
considered heroes. My parents have different characters. My mother is a bit
pessimistic, hard-working and attentive. My father is optimistic, helpful and
friendly. Although my parents argue with me and I don’t like it, they want to
help me overcome my difficulties. I’m a bit perfectionist and the marks aren’t
always the best, so my parents argue with me but they help me to improve.
This way, they have found me tutorships or extra lessons and I think I'm
improving.
To conclude, the heroes are not only from a fantasy world but also from the
real world. For example: parents and people who help the world become a
better place.

3. My hero
By definition, a hero or heroine is a real person or a main character of a
literary work who, in the face of danger, combats adversity through feats of
ingenuity, bravery or strength; the original hero type of classical epics did such
things for the sake of glory and honour.
For me, heroes are people that in addition to save other people, are
lovely, kind, have good intentions and they are worried about others, this is,
firefighters, police force: militaries, federal, maritime or civil; and many other
professions and people, because each one of us can be a hero in our own way.
We also have our family and friends. They are heroes because they’ re
always there for us and they share both good and bad moments of our life,
because life isn’t just made of good things and if we have someone to support
us, we can feel better and recover faster.
Concluding, each one of us can be a hero, we just have to want it.

5. MY HERO
Nowadays, there are several types of heroes: in the movies, cartoons, books, but the real
heroes are the real life ones, and for me they are my family, especially my mother and my father.
I consider my mother and my father my heroes. First, because they are always ready to
help people, both family and people they do not know; secondly because they are always doing
many things at the same time, or else always thinking about everything. For example, my mother
always helps my grandparents. She also helps me when I have difficulties at school, she takes
care of the house and works; and my father is currently working in France to give us a better
financial situation.
In conclusion, my parents are my heroes and I am very proud of them.

6. MY HERO
All of us have heroes. They can be from the real world or fantasy, like Marvel.
I choose Vision because I love his character, the way he does things. Even though he is
an android, I love his development during the films he has appeared in: Avengers - Age
of Ultron, Captain America - Civil War and Infinity War.
Vision was an android who possessed a synthetic vibranium body and was created by
Ultron and Helen Cho. During his creation they put the mind stone in Vision’s forehead.
In the end of Age of Ultron, Vision helped the Avengers by saving everyone, and after
that moment, he swore he would always protect humans. Because of the powers that
the mind stone has he kept his promise and then he joined the Avengers.
Everything in our lives needs some romance and that was what happened to him. He
fell in love with Wanda and their relationship was extremely cute and he always wanted
to protect her. Of course, this is a normal thing when you are in love with someone.
As I’ve already mentioned above, he protected the human kind and when villains came
to spread evil, he was there on the front line to fight them back.
The thing that I love about Vision is that he protects everyone and helps everyone
whatever people may be, and I think that’s what we have in common. During my years
as a scout I learned that if someone can’t have something, we should try to help them,
like I do in the food bank. Sometimes he sacrificed himself to see everyone happy, so
it’s like Baden-Powell said “ The best way to be happy is to contribute to the happiness
of others”.

7. MY HERO
The essay I’m about to write is about my hero – my grandmother. I really admire her
and I think that she is really strong. Although she lived through a very difficult period
in life, she never gave up and even today she continues to be a strong woman, a
real fighter. I identify myself with her, because whatever obstacles, I may find, I try
to solve them and I never give up, because we have to be stronger to overcome
difficulties. My grandmother reacts calmly and in a thoughtful way concerning things
around her. She thinks before she speaks, and she also thinks if what she is about to
say is going to affect the person she is speaking to, just like me. Although I think that
each person is unique, this is, each person has his own personality, I think there are
some things that I need to improve, I shouldn’t be so pessimistic or stressed…

8. MY HERO
Many people have different ideas about what a hero is to them. It could be a
marvel hero like Spider-Man, it could be someone with an inspiring story like
Stephen Hawking, it could be Santa Claus or it could be your parents that
work hard to provide you with food, a house, comfort, etc.
I don’t have a specific hero but if I have to talk about one, I would rather talk
about a real person that I don’t know, more than a close person to me.
So, John Cena is an American Wrestler known worldwide. He has been fighting
in WWE for 15 years but nowadays he is more dedicated to Hollywood. I’ve
decided to choose him because of all the things that I’ve heard he does and
because he will never read this.
He has donated thousands of dollars to charity, he talks with fans and children
with diseases and tries to bring the best out of everyone. Like him, I like to
help people. If I go to Porto and see someone asking for money I start to feel
bad and even if I can’t help him, I want to.
I’m not a millionaire like John Cena but if I was, I would probably not care
about donating money or helping others. These are little things that we can
do to turn the world into a better place.

9. MY HERO
My hero is my parents because I see them as a couple - so they are one. My
mom is intelligent, nice, fun, attentive, and caring. My father is like my mother
but not so patient. When I have good news, they react well, but when I have
bad news, they get sad and argue with me. When I get bad news, I also feel
sad. I have some qualities like my mother. I am, nice, fun and attentive.
In conclusion, my heroes are my parents, there are there everything I need in
the good and bad moments.

10. MY HERO
I’m going to write about someone I really admire. That person is my
mum. My mum carried me for nine months and has been with me
since I was born. That’s why she's already a heroine. She has
raised me, has educated me, she has given me love and affection,
and she has always tried to give me everything I need. She has
many good and less good features. She is brave and never gives
up on what she wants and, in this aspect, I think I am a bit like her.
However, she is very stubborn and proud.
When something not so good happens, she is very positive and
gives strength to everyone and supports people, especially those
who love them. She is my heroine, although not a heroine of a book
or a movie but she is the heroine of my life story and nothing is
going to change that. With this, I don’t want to leave out my dad
who is also a hero to me, who does everything to make me happy
both myself and others.

11. MY HERO
I´m going to talk about my favourite hero since I was 7 years old.
He´s Robin Hood. I consider him my favourite hero because he
always fought against injustice. He is an important person
concerning social inequality.
Robin Hood was a skilled archer and swordsman, who served in
crusades. He was known for robbing the rich to give to the poor.
One day, when he returned from one of the crusades, he found his
ground devastated by the tyranny of regents, abusive laws and the
prohibition of hunting. As he didn´t want to accept it, he revolted
against the laws. He had a lot of knowledge about arcade and
combat so he created a group with people like him (people who were
against the laws) starting to fight the tyranny of the aristocracy.
The way he used was to rob aristocrats and to give to the poor.
Basically, he was grounded and then he tried hard to change some
injustice.
I think everyone should follow the example of Robin Hood. I’m not
referring to being a thief (although his cause is noble because he
robbed the rich to help the poor). I just think that we shouldn´t
give up fighting for what we think is right. Nowadays, in the world
we live in, we need to be like him. We shouldn´t give up and let
important people command us and we have to fight against all the
inequalities that are constantly generated by some people
(“important” people). If everyone followed the example of Robin
Hood, the world would be much better.

12. MY HERO
The hero I’m going to write about is Martin Luther King Jr. He was American
and a Baptist Preacher. He fought against racism and discrimination. He
became one of the most important leaders of the Black Civil Rights Movement
in the United States and in the world, with a campaign of nonviolence and love
of neighbour. On 14 October, 1964, he won the Nobel Prize of Peace for
fighting racial inequality. Martin Luther King Jr and his famous speech in
Washington, in 1963, marked the world and there is a special phrase that
marked many people and that I really love: “I have a dream that one day my
four little children will not be judged by the colour of their skin, but buy the
content of their character.”
I really admire this man for his determination and work. If we were all like him
the world would certainly be a better place.

13. MY HERO
I’m going to write about my hero. My hero is Thiago do Nascimento Alcântara.
He is a football player. I like my hero because I love playing football and Thiago
is my favourite football player. He is pretty much the reason why I like to see all
the games of Bayern Munich, he is the star of that club. He is such an amazing
player. I hope to be like him some day. He can be short but he shows all the
magic in the football field. I would like to be like him because he is an example
for me and I love football.
