1. MINDFUL BREAK
KOLEZIJA PRIMARY SCHOOL, LJUBLJANA, SLOVENIA
DESCRIPTION:
Every day one of the
students get a mindfulness
bell and has a right to ring
it one time during the
school work. At that
moment all pupils stop
with the activities, stand up
take 3 long breaths with
spreading their arms and
put their palms on the
heart, close their eyes and
concentrate on their heart
beats. After doing it, they
sit down and proceed with
their activities.
2. GOALS:
• Children regain their focus and concentration
• Children regain their awareness of their bodies
• Pupils get a chance to take a short break during their mental activities
• Being in the moment
• Having a little fun
• Children ground themselves in their bodies
