Educational Technology
is a field of study which is
concerned with the practice
of using educational
methods and resources for
the ultimate goal of
facilitating the learning
process.
Educational Technology
is taught in school for the
learners to come up easily in
the modern world. In this
subject, the students can learn
how they can use technology to
have a better learning. It is one
of the best way to integrate
learning and information to
ourselves.
TRADITIONAL WAY – delivery vehicles for
instructional lessons.
Point Of View:
*Technology serves as source and presenter of knowledge.
*It is assumed that “knowledge is embedded in the technology and
the technology presents that knowledge.
*Technology like computers.
CONSTRUCTIVIST WAY – as partner in the learning
process.

*Educational Technology serves as learning tools to learn with.
*It engage learners in active, constructive, intentional, authentic
and cooperative learning.
*It provides opportunities for technology and learner interaction
for meaningful learning.
*Technology as tools to support
knowledge instruction.
*Technology as information vehicles
for exploring knowledge to support
learning-by-constructing.
*Technology as context to support
learning-by-doing.
*Technology as a social medium to
support learning-by-conversing.
*Technology as intellectual partner
to support learning-by-reflecting.

  • 4. My name is GWEN B. MENDEZ. I was born on September 04,1997. 18 years of age. Currently residing at Montpeller, Alegria, Cebu. I'm a third year student taking up Bachelor in Elementary Education major in Content Education at Cebu Technological University - Moalboal Campus, Poblacion West Moalboal, Cebu.
  • 5. Educational Technology is a field of study which is concerned with the practice of using educational methods and resources for the ultimate goal of facilitating the learning process.
  • 6. Educational Technology is taught in school for the learners to come up easily in the modern world. In this subject, the students can learn how they can use technology to have a better learning. It is one of the best way to integrate learning and information to ourselves.

  • 16. Teacher’s Role Student’s Role Computer’s Role Insure that students have the needed knowledge and skills for any computer activity. Receives information. Act as a sort of tutor. Decide the appropriate learning objectives. Understand instruction for computer activity. Provides a learning environment. Plan the sequential and structured activities to achieve objectives. Keep in mind the information and rules for the computer activity. Reinforces learning through drill and practice. Evaluate the student’s achievement by ways of tests the specific expected outcomes.
