• I get into my 2004 Ford Explorer Sport Trac and
drive to school.

plastic coat hanger.

• I could join a carpool, or I could walk/ride a bike
to school.
• I could use more environmentally friendly wood
coat hangers, or just fold my clothes and put
them in my dresser.

• I could save the plastic bottles and refill them
with Gatorade made from powder and water
mixed together.
• I could set the thermostat to a single
temperature, and drink ice water when I become
too warm.

then drive back to school for baseball practice.
• I take my dad’s Ford F-250
and fill it up with diesel
fuel.
• I use plastic cooking utensils to prepare dinner.

• I could stay at school after school and before practice,
therefore limiting my driving.
• I could fill my dad’s truck up with bio-diesel. (Although more
expensive, it is worth the cost in the long run for the environment.)
• I could buy and use wooden cooking utensils to prepare
dinner.
