3. AssignmentTask
You have been asked by senior management of your organisation to evaluate the current
position of your organisation with regards to its international business strategy and prepare
a business report which considers the following:
Task 1 – (30%) maximum 1, 500 words
Undertake an evaluative analysis of the key features of international business strategy
within the framework of your own organisation and position with regards to overseas
markets and summarise the impact on decision making at corporate level.
Task 2 – (45%) maximum 2,000 words
Critically analyse the effectiveness of the current approaches undertaken by your
organisation to manage international cultural diversity to prepare individuals to work
effectively with “difference” within overall corporate objectives.
Task 3 – (25%) maximum 1,000 words
Evaluate communication systems and control processes currently used by your
organisation to implement its international business strategy.
Your report must contain a clear set of recommendations for each of the above three tasks.
The report should be produced in academic English, with sources referenced appropriately
using Harvard style. Please ensure that any literature that you refer to is current and
relevant (2010-2018).
