I think is very important to discover the structure of the
protein , the function and what happened if it had a
mutation. In this case they find that in a lot of tumors the
CTCF protein and cohesins can be mutated , carrying a
problem with the DNA binding.

In my opinion is very important to know how can a
transcription factor could make a different structural
role, it can give answers to problems in the distribution
of chromosomes during the cell division .

are significant and an important
step towards understanding the
cause and consequences of
cancer-associated mutations.

inhibit them . Then we
