Teachers must create a good classroom atmosphere to promote confidence and security among learners. They have a duty to build good relationships with students and mediate misbehaviors positively to increase confidence and participation, pointing out issues but focusing on gratification. Learning only occurs when students are biologically ready, so teachers must be patient and understand that repetition through games, songs, dances and reading helps young children internalize topics when they are receptive around ages four to five. Finally, teachers should generate a context of total confidence where students can learn in a relaxed, fun way while feeling comfortable and safe participating in tasks.

Math night for parents
The Hempfield Area School District held a Parent Math Night to discuss its new K-12 math curriculum. A Math Curriculum Committee selected the Math Expressions program after a year-long review of best practices and programs. The committee evaluated six programs and selected Math Expressions. Two teachers per grade level are piloting the program this semester. Math Expressions uses real-world examples, drawings, and student explanations to help students build conceptual understanding of mathematical ideas. It incorporates strategies like daily quick practice, teaching multiple algorithms, and having students take on leadership roles. The event provided an overview of the Math Expressions approach and resources for parents to support their children's learning.

The Healthy Mindsets for Super Kids program is a new 10-module program aimed at building resilience in children aged 9-14. Each module uses superhero themes to teach skills related to communication, social skills, anger management, and positive thinking. The program was developed in response to the need for universal prevention programs to build resilience in at-risk children. Two trials of the program showed promising results in improving participants' resilience skills.

Each child is thought of as an individual so, we strive to meet their needs through lessons that are geared toward each child without making them feel different or separated from the other children in our care.
The assessment characteristic I will be using to focus on defining quality as a continuum is an ongoing assessment. The Early childhood Assessment is a tool I will be using as an ongoing assessment tool to collect information concerning each child for teachers, and the families of the children in my center. The information I gather will be used daily by myself, teachers, and parents to assess and assist children in the growth and develop process of each child, create a curriculum, set goals, and create an environment that is conducive for them cognitively, physically, socially and emotionally, and language wise. This assessment involves the teachers first observing the children and then documenting their findings. This assessment process will help us to run a more efficient and quality program for children and their families. By using this ongoing assessment tool we will be required to
· keep a record of each child’s growth and development
· specify the children that require extra support
· create an individualized plan for each child
· take note of their strengths and weaknesses
· ensure communication is strong between teachers, parents and other necessary staff members on a regular basis through home visits, parent conferences, and parent involvement activities in the center.

- 3. Parent Toddler Age Group: 1 to 1 ½ years Duration: 1 hour per day (2 sessions per week for 6 months) Acquisition of skills as maximum brain development happens during this period. Objective of the program- Train parents to help them foster their child’s development by learning and practicing child development through a scientific approach. The program fosters social, aesthetic and motor skills in young children. It helps infants and toddlers develop their latent language and math skills through the Glenn Doman method.
- 4. Play Group Age Group: 1 ½ to 2 ½ years Duration: 2 ½ hours per day Playgroup provides children with an array of individual, small and large group activities. Each month children explore an exciting theme through iLLUME (The HOW?). Kidzee’s core belief is that every child is unique and has an infinite potential; they just needs help in realizing it. Through iLLUME, Kidzee help children discover their learning style and inculcates the love for learning in their early years.
