WHAT
IS PLASTIC
POLLUTION?
PLASTIC POLLUTION
As time goes on, so does the plastic pollution.
The more the population grows, so does the
garbage that’s produced by the population.
Plastic pollution is the accumulation of plastic
products and this causes a chain reaction.
Plastic pollution affects the wildlife, their
habitat and humans. This includes killing
plant life, constituting dangers to the wildlife
and the us, the humans.
WHAT
IS LAND
POLLUTION?
LAND POLLUTION
Land pollution is the destruction of the earth’s
surface and soil. Human’s actions have caused
this whether it be directly or indirectly.
The increase in numbers of unproductive land
plots and the decrease in the number of forest
cover is all due to land pollution.
Every time a plastic item gets
thrown away, the toxic pollutants
stand a greater chance of entering
the environment and doing harm.
Trash dumps and landfills give the
pollutants the opportunity to enter
the grown and cause an affect the
wildlife and the groundwater for
many years.
T R A S H
THE CAUSES
Plastic is made to last and therefore
it is almost impossible to break
down.
Burning plastic- This is toxic and
can lead to illness and dangerous
pollution. If the plastic is in a
landfill it will continuously release
toxins in that area.
