1.0 Purpose
2. This procedure describes the method for identifying risks, planning to take action and
assigning the core objectives related to (BUSINESS RISK ACTIVITIES) carried out by
ORGANISATION NAME. The procedure also applies to other requirements, guidance,
and industry best practice arising from the activities carried out by ORGANISATION
NAME’s suppliers, third parties customers and contractors. In addition to this the
objectives planning process should also consider the wider global impact of
ORGANISATION NAME’ activities and any positive environmental impacts that arise
form the core environmental strategy.
The methodology of identifying risks and taking action replaces that of the objectives
and targets noted in ISO 14001:2004. This document will also be utilised as a
framework for developing corrective actions that arise from the outputs from the
environmental management of ORGANISATION NAME and will be utilised to mitigate
any potential impacts that arise from these issues.
2.0 Scope
This procedure applies to the development of planning and improvement projects
related to compliance with ISO 14001:2015. The strategy of planning shall include
legislation or industry schemes that ORGANISATION NAME must either comply or
chooses to comply with in relation to its products services and activities. This process
will also consider the inputs from the following sources when planning to take action.
