David Johnson, Sarah Bowers & Kyra Bouttell are pitching a 3-5 minute short fantasy/comedy film called "A Modern Day Cinderella". It would be targeted towards teenage girls similar to films like Mean Girls and Clueless. They envision it being shown as an extra on DVDs for Mean Girls 2 and being marketed at short film festivals, online, and through a website. Audience research found that 87% of their target audience likes chick flicks and 79% likes fantasy/fairytale films. They also found that 91% of girls and 38% of boys surveyed said they would consider watching the film.
