4. Education + Scale = Café Créatif
Café Créatif is a project incubator whose mission
is to support early stage startups and companies
in critical situations from [0] to [1] through
education and operational assistance.
The [0] moment is defined as a cross-functional founding team trying to solve a problem that matters.
The [1] moment is defined as a startup that created sufficient traction to be break even or venture compatible.
5. Our journey From 0 to 1
We were the zero guys !
2015, we had an abandoned house as office
2016, we became an association having 40 members
2017, we launch our first project incubator batches with 37 startups, only 04
succeeded
2018, we recruited 04 commercials, and launched a series of masterclass 1
training per week. After a series of 10 masterclass we abandoned it because the
charges were too costly
When we became one -
November 2018
Today we are supporting 12 startups per months in 09 towns of Cameroon
(Bamenda, Yagoua, Yaoundé, Douala, Bafoussam, Magba, Ngaoundéré, Bangam,
Bangangté), in Hanover (Germany) and in Ivory coast.
April 2019
We are by law a Cameroon LTD (SARL) company with 4 departments: Commercial,
Communication, Marketing, and Training.
6. The Mechanism Design of Incubation
There is no co-working space in Café Créatif.
Making startup work in a noisy, distracting
environment is inefficient. We advise them to live
where they work as roommates until they can
afford the perfect work space.
There is no batch in Café Créatif program.
The CATI² (Dschang university incubator) has
been the model for batch centric local
incubators. But this model only works in a
positive creation environment such as
Silicon Mountain. A different ecosystem calls
for different adaptation, timelines and levels
of support.

2. BOOST THE PERFORMANCES OF CAFÉ CRÉATIF LTD
We will use 350 000 frs CFA to recruit more
competent personnel and finance our Marketing Plan
THIS WILL ENABLE US TO:
• Multiply the number of startups we are
supporting from 12 per month to 36 per month.
These startups will pay entrance fees (30,000 frs
CFA) + 3% offer from their capital.
As result of these actions our total sales will move
from 200,000 frs CFA per month to 1,000,000 frs CFA
per month with a net margin of 61%
