- 2. OPENING SEQUENCE My opening sequence is going to be based on a rich spoilt teenage female. Shes very evil and very mean, she wants everything done her way. Her life is basically filled with lies as she isn't as happy as she seems she is. The themes in my movie are selfishness and death. She as well has a mission against her best friend that she has murdered and this will be shown throw the opening sequence to create enigma. It creates mystery as there is a knife and blood with the picture.
- 3. NAME OF YOUR FILM LOUBS & LIES That's the name of my movie. Loubs is a slang word for The brand Christian Louboutin. As my movie is based on a very spoilt teenager that owns a huge closet filled with clothes, shoes and bags, it helps the audience to understand that it will be based on a luxurious atmosphere. Loubs is a high class branded heels priced over $500 , every girl would want them so it’s clear that my target audience is girls. The second part is Lies, this helps the audience to identify the genre which is drama and mystery.
- 4. PRODUCTION COMPANY NAME I took these pictures from google as it describes my production company name “Royal productions”. The crown and diamond represent loyalty and luxurious. The pictures go very well with the name “ROYAL”. I got the name “royal images” because it links to my movie, royalty , luxurious and expensive. ROYAL PRODUCTIONS
- 5. TARGET AUDIENCE My Target audience are teenage girls and females aged from around 14-25 as that’s what the results showed me when i did a survey. I will satisfy them by adding what they expect to see and more in a mystery chick flick such as makeup, jewellery, heels, watches designer perfumes. As well as it has mystery in it and that’s created by the props used which is the knife and blood. So it does give the audience an idea that theres a story to it.
- 6. GENRE Chick flicks consists of romantic comedies or fairy tale type stories. Not only is it just focused around a girl's crush or lover, good chick flicks are about friendships and drama. And that’s what i’m going to include in my opening sequence, friendship. Story is based on a girl thats full of lies and kills her best friend. Although the genre is shown from the music. And mystery is shown through the colour red and the sound effects. Mystery is another genre that is shown through out the opening film.
- 7. TECHNICAL CONSIDERATION The style of camera i’m going to use is a lot of close up shots to show the features of my character while she puts on her makeup as close up shots take us to the mind of the character. I’m going to use a lot of eye level angle shots to make the audience actually feel like they are observing the scene. Dolly shots is going to be used to follow the character around when movement occurs. Im going to use Non- Diagetic sound as im going to add a girly song to connect to my genre and the atmosphere and to make my audience get into the mood of chick-flick and mystery feeling.
- 8. LOGISTICS The location i going to use is my house as my moms closet is exactly what i need. A closet filled with bags, shoes and jewellery to show that the protagonist is wealthy. I will as well use my bedroom and bathroom. For my casting i’m going to be uploading a form on what kind of character i need , which is blonde and tall. This form will be uploaded on my facebook page, on a board in school and on a board in spinneys.
