2. Introduction
My film, ‘All that Remains’ would be perfect for the British Movie
Studio, DNA Films as my film resembles some of their previous
works such as ‘28 days later’ and it’s sequel ‘28 weeks later’ as it
is a post-apocalyptic horror film. They will therefore have
previous knowledge on how to distribute and sell my product.
DNA films is also a very successful production company so it is
the best possible studio in order for my film to be successful and
reach it’s target audience.

3. Plot Summary
The summary of my film involves two friends, Charlie and Jacob, trying to
survive the post-apocalyptic world full of infected people that they now inhabit
alone. Just as food and morale is running low, they soon get word of a small
town that is safe and will be protected from infected and violent bandits. It
could be fake or overrun before they get there but the two friends take their
chances and set off to find it. However, they have to journey across the
country full of dangers and threats that could kill them.
The film will be tense and engaging, creating characters with real emotion and
depth which will appeal to it’s target audience and will actually make you care
about the perils that our two protagonists will have to go through. It will also
be very visceral which will be interesting to watch giving it more of an edge
over other films of this genre.

These two films are of the same genre as my film and they have
been successful in terms of worldwide gross. With a low
budget, it has a bigger chance of being successful.

I will include these conventions in order for my film to become
more appealing to it’s target audience thus generating a bigger
audience in order for the film to be more successful. The

6. Target Audience
The target audience for my film is the same as the target
audience of the horror genre which is 15-25 males and females.
My film will be appealing to my target audience as it will feature
conventions that the target audience find most appealing. It will
also be tense and scary which is the main goal of a horror film
which will shock and entertain.
