2. My movie
• in my movie idea my main character is a young man by the name of
Ryan who has lost his family due to the ferocious virus that is bringing
the dead back from the grave he has now been left with no one in a
world with undead corpses feeding on the living.
• The movie will be called Revelations…

3. Target audience
• The target audience will be for teenagers and above this is because
zombies films are usually quite violent and gory they also include
strong language this will be pretty intense for younger audiences and
that’s why I'm targeting it for older audiences.

• 28 days later is a film that came out in 2002 and was directed by British
director Danny Boyle the plot depicts the breakdown of society following
the accidental release of a very contagious virus and focuses upon the
struggle of four survivors trying to cope with the destruction of the life
they once knew.

• Another film in the zombie genre that inspires me is Shaun of the dead
Shaun of the Dead is a 2004 horror comedy film directed by Edgar Wright
co-written by Wright and Simon Pegg, and starring Pegg and Nick Frost.
Pegg plays Shaun, a directionless Londoner who is caught in a zombie
apocalypse. The film was a critical and commercial success and was
nominated for a BAFTA.

5. The Rest of the market
Great film directors in the zombie genre like George A Romero who
made greats like the original dawn of the dead and the classic night of
the living dead which was very popular at the time some of the best
films in the zombie genre include world war z zombie land Shaun of
the dead and 28 days later these film are the massive in the zombie
genre and were all box office bombs.

6. My Expectations
• My expectations when I watch a horror film is mostly eerie suspense
and jump scares these are the building blocks of a horror without
these the movie will be quite bland and boring it normally starts off
calm and easy for example a family moving into a haunted house and
there is no trouble until weeks or months after they have moved in.
• When I watch a zombie film I expect to see gore and dilapidated
settings normally they have post apocalyptic music in them chilling
and threatening with it slowly building suspense.

7. Example of a script
• My film starts off with my main protagonist Ryan scavenging for food
and supplies in a kitchen with a dog barking in the background with a
car alarms creating tension in the street.
